Josh explores and uncovers that “faith” in John’s Gospel really means to pursue an active and dynamic trust in Jesus, especially when life hurts. By rediscovering faith in this way, we are able to lean into God and find peace when we come face-to-face with our own vulnerability.

Practicing Love: Part 1 - The Abundance of Love
Tuesday Oct 15, 2019
Tuesday Oct 15, 2019
In this first of five sermons on the practicalities of love in relationships, we open to Philippians and introduce ourselves to Paul, Timothy, Epaphroditus, and the first Christian community in Philippi. All along we are looking for how Paul took Jesus's vision of love and applied it for his first followers, asking "Now what?" to Jesus's teaching on self-denial, cross-bearing, and self-humbling on a day-to-day basis.
